Here's my task manager screen for the current setup:

Interestingly, the '61' count next to Chrome bears no relation to the actual tab count (circa 250).
Gaming is resource hungry but I'm not playing anything that really pushes my system too hard, and going up to 16GB of RAM will keep me going for a few years before I need to worry about upgrading my CPU or GPU.

Chrome is still sucking up a fair bit of your memory nonetheless, though manageable. 250 tabs though, that's a lot of porn, mate.

No gaming, no porn! I know too much about how traceable activity can be to even think about doing that. Plus I'm too old ... I'd rather think about, and indulge in, food!

ETA - let me rephrase that ... food IS my porn !

Well the wonderful thing about the internet is that there's something for everyone.

Personally if I open a 5th tab, it usually signals that I need to close something down the line, I can't imagine keeping track of 250. But as long as there are no ads, you're all good.

No. The most compute-intensive task is answering the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

I forget youtube has ads until I use it on the phone, 99% of the time I use it on my PC so ad blocker thinger takes of the ads, so much nicer not dealing with ads.

I never get ads on any video I watch on my PC unless I turned off ad blocker, using chrome.

Websites that block me because of using ad block, I just close the page.

Same here. Never tried it, but I have heard that the YouTube Vanced app will eliminate ads, and will also let audio play when you're phone's in sleep mode too.

Im hoping after last night’s car crash performance in the debate, I won’t have to sit through a 30 second Mike Bloomberg campaign video every time I try and watch something on YouTube!

When you're talking about the US's sixth wealthiest individual, who has decided to fund a Presidential campaign with his own pocket change, you have at least a few more weeks of enduring Bloomberg for President ads.
