Functionally it is is no different to this and I had never handled one before, boys and their toys, fires a 5.56 Nato so not really of interest to me as too small for hunting. Well small game aside.

There are some perfectly harmless gourds they could use for that. They don't hurt anyone and they are ecologically sound.

The gourds probably come in all sorts of nice colours too so they could get one that matched.
