Had you considered suspending a mower deck under a drone? .... At very least you could make some good money from a video of it posted on YouTube.

A gasoline engine, fast moving blade, the ability to rise high in the air, all on wireless remote control. What could possibly go wrong?

Popular Mechanics in the 60's had plans for a mower-powered personal hovercraft, and while renewing my acquaintance with those, I came across a multitude of bicycle mowers.

Our yard isn't too big either, so it's easy enough with a walk behind. It's great as it means I can mow the lawn at 6am whilst the dog is outside too!

Well a ride on would only go forward a few yards before hitting a fence!

Among the many benefits of not having a dog, one of the best is I don't have to get up at 6am on a weekend

As long as I get mine done before the mosquitos come out I'm usually happy. 9-ish on a Saturday morning does the job.

I started looking at youtube videos of self-propelled mowers converted to riding mowers, and it's not often you see that much dangerous stuff all in one place.

Our dog doesn't normally get up until about 10am. And then we have to go wake her up half the time.

The main benefit is she's a hunting dog, so gets rid of bugs, squirrels and rabbits from our garden. She also finds and points out Possums and fetches me for that, which is useful

I'm always up at 5/5:30am anyway, so I've often let the dog out, mowed the lawn, taken her to the dog park, had a coffee and had breakfast all before 9am on a Saturday!

How can I train my daughter to do that?

I get up early during the week for work, so I reward myself by not setting an alarm on Saturdays. It's the little things. Unless there's a match on I want to watch, then I'll try to get up for that.

We bought a property 2 months ago. So far hubby has painted all the walls white...they were olive green and dark red...so that had to be the first job. Refitted the kitchen, new wood flooring in the hall and vanity, fitted new toilet and washbasin in vanity. Replaced toilet and vanity and tiled 2 bathrooms...including shower stall...which was also fitted with new fittings. Fitted all new light fittings. Put 2 TVs on the wall.

The only job outsourced was the granite counter tops.

Real men in the caribbean use stihl...

Cut the grass with a stihl brushcutter with a nylon head, tungsten circular saw for the brush, stihl chainsaw with tungsten chain for anything it cant cope with.

I love tiling walls and floors, and laying hardwood flooring! Toilets, not so much!

Ditto - vicariously - but only in tropical hardwoods.
