Dubious caf, corner of Theobalds Road/Kingsway/Southampton Row , next to a place that sold "bagels". Used to go there for greasy bacon sandwiches.
Lloyds Bank was opposite. Bank is still there.

That corner is the Grange Hotel now. I believe there is now a Japanese Restaurant there. I know the Lloyds Bank well, it's in Victoria House, a building where my father worked from the 1940s until the 1970s when he retired.

Sixth form coll. was right there, expelled students, international students and general misfits, and the teachers were pretty much the same. I had a wonderful time. We also used to drink at the Museum Pub.

Camden Market and Camden Lock.....a very interesting part of London....and if you like a typical and very noisy Irish pub then this is the place for you.....but my favourite London Market is just south of the River.........Borough Market, literally in the shadow of Southwark Cathedral...if you can't buy it there then it doesn't exist.
