I found a pack in the British store here last year.....came home dead chuffed with myself, only to find the kids didn't like them, so even more chuffed I had them all to myself

I'll be wearing me Tesco "Best of British" t-shirt and I'll bring along some worcester sauce flavoured crisps, thats all I have left from the visit in April. The good news is we are flying over for 17 weeks starting next Thursday so we can replenish our stocks.

The Four Day Diamond Jubilee Holiday weekend.....
You really don't have to be an ardent Monarchist (which I am personally as it happens) to enjoy knocking off work at around 6pm this evening (if lucky) and then have a complete break away from the treadmill of employment (which I really enjoy as it happens) until the Great Return to Work on the early morning of Wednesday next 06 June....unless your employment requires you to work due to its nature.
Guess what - the weather over the past two weeks or so has been really lovely for much of the UK - quite hot and sunny on many days - BUT
as this is a very Special Holiday and as Sod would have it the weather looks set to be s**t in true British style.....especially on Sunday which is the day for which most street parties are planned and organised.......buckets of the wet stuff especially in southern, south eastern and south western England and afternoon temperatures in single figures! All those soggy sausage rolls and chilly chappatis......

It is also the Diamond Jubilee of Canada's Queen! We're off to spend the weekend in Ottawa, will probably end up in the Royal Oak carousing with the locals. Here's a picture of the Queen proudly wearing the Order of Canada.
