We use a clean dessert knife and fork for the appetizer...then a clean dinner knife and fork for the main course. We also use soup spoons for soup...not dessert spoons and a dessert fork and spoon for dessert.
Almost forgot about the pastry fork for pastries/cakes and the fish knife and fork for fish dishes.

I've seen scrambled eggs scooped up with toast, no silverware involved, at a 300 quid a night London hotel by citizens of a Middle Eastern county.

Mcdonalds....ordered a big Mc with everything, opened it up half way down the road, it was a plain one, took it back and the girl gave me the correct one.. but, what she did next was disgusting...she put the plain burger on a tray and served it to a customer...l could have done anything to it!!!
