Wondered about that too. Have the first episode lined up, just not had time to check it out yet.

I found it to be almost as boring as the book so turned it off 20 minutes in.

Feeling accomplished after almost 3 hours of ironing so sitting down to new Top Gear now :-)

The third series of British Sewing Bee, started yesterday.

If you're into cheesy, slightly camp contests like the Bake Off, this is great fun

Anyone watching Wolf Hall?

We tried to watch the first episode but found it so slow and boring that we couldn't make it the whole way through. We weren't the only ones were we?

We endured the first episode. But I'd rather pull my fingernails out than watch the rest of the series....

Smile Re: UK TV Programs

This 10 part series begins on Sunday night (15 Feb) on Channel 4 in England. It looks like it could be pretty good. I'm pretty sure it will end up on PBS as a Masterpiece Theater series:

Indian Summers: On set in Malaysia for Channel 4's new epic story of the British Raj - Features - TV & Radio - The Independent

(I also have a personal interest; we lived in Singapore for a few years and the tropical colonial architecture is similar in Malaysia (formerly Malaya) and India. I also stayed for one week in a flat at the Royal Bombay Yacht Club in Mumbai.... It is still a continuing relic of colonial times)

Also on an Indian theme.....there is going to be a new release on March 06 in the US of 'The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel', starring Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy, Penelope Wilton, Dev Patel, Celia Imrie....and Richard Gere. I loved the first movie, I hope this one will be just as funny.....info and trailers in the link below:

Critical

A new hospital drama. First episode was very dry and had a sterile feel to it but with glimpses of a potential back story. Almost had a sci-fi feel about the hospital but it isn't meant to be.

Very odd, but possibly worth a few episodes. Not overly grim, but has a few grim scenes.

Broadchurch....what did everyone think of that in the end? I liked the direction they took and the announcement for a third series should make for an interesting thought in where they might take things next.

Spoiler:

Do you still think he's guilty, or did he get away with it?
And what's up with the laywer's son?

We had a snow day yesterday, so we binge-watched Broadchurch (S2). Thought it was really good, but I can't see it translating to the crash-bang world of US TV!

Looking forward to season three!
