It's usually when I am drifting off to sleep with the timer on the telly ready to turn it off ~ then BLAST a bloody advert that has some moron yelling at me comes on and wakes me the f*** up

If I don't laugh I'll cry.

The guy that pisses me off the most is the chap with the beard, a black beard.
He looks like someone who used to be on a D.I.Y/Comedy/family show but I guess it's just that, All American D.I.Y look they want to show.

He's the well-known over-exposed Billy Mays ~ they need to put him out to pasture - annoying git

The furniture superstore with the guy and the high pitched wail drives me nuts. Not sure if you get that particular local ad over there.

So anyone watching the Ghost Whisperer? I used to watch it, but thought it got a bit shit and really weird the last series, so not bothered with this one.

Same for ER, but then it is the last one, so anyone think it's been good?

like you I used to watch it....but then it got to silly and sickly sweet...to the point where it made you want to vomit..

and I haven't watched ER since George Clooney and the gang left..oh how I miss them...

Have I Got News For You started a new series on Friday, but if you're going to try and get it from one of the usual places, then it's well worth waiting a day, and then getting the extended version. It should be particularly good in the next couple of weeks as we approach the US elections.

and that'll beef your uknova ratio like a champ if you leave it going for a while.

We're also really liking Merlin, it is proper cheese and really daft, but it's kind of fun.

Also liking Jamie Olivers Ministry of Food, it's half finished now, rather daft, but still good for a laugh.

Oh and Graham Norton has started too, which is pretty amusing.
