Westworld, is starting to grow on me now though. The fact that the 'hosts' are so lifelike that even the humans can't tell the difference is a bit of a plausibility issue, but I can get over that. But what is the point of these 'cowboy and indians' shootouts ... Anyway, for now, I just relish every scene with Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris and hope the storyline clears up. |
Re: Tele
Westworld just doesn't seem to have the writing quality that I have come to expect from HBO. Its more like a regular cable channel offering.

Re: Tele
I stumbled across 'the crown' on netflix last night. Ended up getting hooked, watching 3 hours.
I am completely not interested in the Royal Family, considering them by and large a waste of space, so I can't quite explain why this show interested me; perhaps the historical context, with Churchill and all that. Anyway - loved it, and especially loved Claire Foy. |

Thoroughly enjoyed this and looking forward to season two. Both Clair Foy (Queen Elizabeth) and John Lithgow (Churchill) were remarkable.
Complete recast for season 3 and again at season 5 so start laying bets now on who will be who. |

Re: Tele
Shooter.
Based on the book, or the movie, not entirely sure. Anyway, Bob Swagger character, not to sure about the casting for him or Memphis, the other main character but that said, a couple episodes in and it was quite nicely done. Silly, fun bit of action. About a marine sniper called in to figure out how a planned hit might go off, only to find he's the fall guy for the actual plot and him trying to figure it out and prove his innocence. |
Re: Tele
Just binged watched Code Black...I'm hooked.
I don't particularly like Marcia Gay Harden...she was the reason I've not watched it before now. Admittedly I am a Rob Lowe fan...this roll was made for him. |
Re: Tele

(Not meaning to be pedantic, just to help those who might be trying to set up downloads or find it online somehow) |

Does it count as a thriller if you know how it ends?
