I found it very educational as a Brit - I knew little about Churchill and Eden, and the inner workings of 10 Downing St, and next to nothing about the royal family and the control exerted by the likes of Lascelles. I also felt quite sympathetic towards Phillip - not because of the 'name' thing, but because he was essentially reduced to nothing.

Netflix only offers 6 episodes.

If I have a long conversation with say my daughter, after about 20 minutes the captions indicate that another operator has taken over. The phone has everything that your regular phone has, contact list, save conversation function, etc.

It is a wonderful program, free of charge, from the FCC. Someone comes to your home, hooks up the phone, makes sure the initial setup is correct, instructs you on how to use it and off they go.

This sounds like a wonderful program. I'm glad my tax dollars are helping some people have a better quality of life.

I saw all 10 on Netflix over the past few weeks. I just went back to Netflix, and re-opened 'the Crown' ... I see 10 episodes available, from 1 "Wolferton Splash" to 10 "Gloriana".

They may have increased it since I last watched the 6th episode. When I'm bored next I will have to check it out

I watched it at the beginning of November when it was first released on US Netflix.

I'm not crazy ... there were only 6 episodes available for viewing on Netflix when I watched it. Now, I'm going to have turn the television on and look just to satisfy myself.

Now I have ten episodes. So I have four more to go on these cold nights.

The Mrs and I have started to watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It's pretty funny. Although admittedly she is watching it more than I am.

What does the team think about 'Stranger things' on Netflix? It just won a bunch of awards, so i'm wondering if its worth it.

Was somewhat disappointed by 'the Medici' so not sure I want to embark on another lengthy series unless its worthwhile.

BTW - I'm absolutely loving 'Parks and Recreation' on Netflix. I'm watching several episodes every night, and it just keeps getting better. The cast is fantastic.

Parks and Rec was one of the few shows myself and the other half binge watched. We still tune in to random episodes when we see it on the TV.

The cast gel and work perfectly together to make great viewing.

I was quite hopeful as a few friends really liked it, but it bored me to tears after a few episodes and I gave up about half way through the series.

Mercy Street, is back for a second series and the period drama is hotting up around the plot to assassinate the president.

Ransom, about the hostage negotiators is just terrible. They conveniently have a fresh grad type person manage to snag a position, so they can "narrate" what is happening by way of explaining it to her. After a few episodes, they have finally started to work in a bit of a back story. It's still rather turgid.

Black Sails, is back, but I've not gotten around to seeing the first episode, same with X-Company, which is a great little series.

I was introduced to Parks and Rec by the OH last summer. It's now one of my favourites and we binge watch on a lazy Sunday every now and again!

Everyone I know seems to love it. I was bored out of my skull. It would have been ok if it was 2 hours long.
