It all sounds very Bernard Cornwall esk, but who knows. Filmed in Ireland and a few other spots, following a bunch of vikings.

Sounded like it could be a little cheesy, but could be fun too.

I wanted to watch it, :( but was after my bedtime, which I had stretched as it was to watch The Bible- all UK actors!!

Taping Vikings - will wait till I have a few before watching.

And, yes me too - I watched the Bible as well. Nodded off before the end though - with Moses... how'd it end?...

they moved ahead to Joshua fit the battle of Jericho, Jericho, Jerhco. Joshua fit the battle of Jericho and the walls came tumblin' down.

Anyone catch Red Widow?

It's Canadian I think? But set in San Fran? Widow out for revenge on husbands death I think. Ad seemed very cheesy from the tag line, but I think we'll give it a quick shot and see.

I know that and you know that, but in the vernacular of the time, it was fit............"The song is believed to have been composed by slaves in the first half of the nineteenth century. "

I must admit - I did like it. For TV it was quite visually impressive.

I was going to ask if anyone saw Red Widow - looks like it didn't do well so don't know if I'll even start watching.

Saw a couple of episodes of Girls - I'm really not sure what the fuss is about. It's just SITC redone.

Well after a bit of a grim start to it, it was pretty decent and fun.

Some nice intrigue to a back story and in fighting of characters.

Also some amazing scenery. Worth a punt.

I've been enjoying The Following. Its well acted and the storyline is still keeping me guessing. And it's not as gory as all the "this show requires viewer discretion" notices each ad break would have you believe.

That was horrid....we didn't make it past 20 minutes of the double opener before having to bin it.

Worst new show yet I think, which is impressive considering The Americans, Do No Harm and other bit of meh

Anyone catch Lennie James on Walking Dead the other night?

They seem to have taken a few liberties with the story in The Bible!
