Scrubber

As a computer geek I think a scrubber is a software tool that era-zes (lol) a hard drive by writing random patterns to every sector.

I use a wet scrubber at work.
Basically you clean a stream of "dirty" gases, in our case industrial dryer gasses that contain SO2, using a high pH water spray, inside a scrubber, that contains a matrix to provide a increased residence time to increase liquid/gas contact time.
Works a treat!
Except when your NaOH dosing valve freezes cos' it's -10f outside, and some baloon forgot to turn on the Sunburst heaters, and your dryers s/down.
