I think he did the voice over for Takeshis Castle too. In the US they turned that into MXC on Spike.

Netflix have all 8 seasons (sorry, seriesses) on instant play. God bless lunch time and an office gigabit connection

Just getting to the good stuff, season 5 and 6. Never saw anything past those ones.

I don't remember Rimmer leaving. I think it went wrong when they introduced the female character.

Rimmer left? I rented the first 2 or 3 discs from Netflix over the Summer....my kids LOVE it!

I'm sure a come back ..with the old crowd would be shit though...they'll be old!

The BEST part about RD was the theme tune.

Altogether now:

"I want to lie,
Shipwrecked and comatose,
Sipping fresh
Mango juuuuuuuuuuuice..."

La la laaaaaaaaa la lee la la la laaaaa... etc...

We used to sing it during breaktimes at school. It was completely infectious.

Shows 1 & 2 have aired and episode 3 is tonight. The first was a bit slow off the mark but the second was a a bit of a parody of some sci-fi stuff which was kind of good. Finale tonight.

All over the torrent sites.

Also watched the new Dr. Who yesterday (streamed over BBC1). Was pretty good. Almost forgot it was on until the last minute.

I own them all on DVD.

Seasons Four through Six are definitely the best with some absolute classic episodes... Seven has its moments, but once you get into season Eight it's best just having an open mind and not remembering the Grant Naylor days.

I don't know from Red Dwarf, but every time I see the title, I am convinced it is politically incorrect.

The Crimson Vertically Handicapped Person, perhaps?
