Red Dwarf coming back

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7851989.stm

A couple specials are in production now with the original cast of Red Dwarf, to be aired sometime around Easter. Tentatively titled: Red Dwarf-Return to Earth.

My main computer / server is called 'Smeghead' in honor of the show and many other have Red Dwarf character names. I'm pretty excited to see what happened after they left us hanging about ten years ago.

My thoughts exactly. A few good seasons and then absolute cack. Why would the new one be any better?

But I didn't like it until they sorted the shape of Kryten's head out...

I don't even remember the last 2 seasons they were so bad. When Rimmer left it died for me. Then when they brought back everyone it just seemed like a cheesey US sitcom, and I remember canned laughter being introduced too.

We were showing an episode to my son's American girlfriend at Christmas - the poor girl was somewhat perplexed - "He's dead see - and he's a cat" lol

The only episode I really remember was when Lister contracted space bumps and his head exploded.

Just checked,
"He spent several months in prison in 1994 awaiting trial on a rape charge, but was cleared in February 1995. "

He seems to be in some sort of trouble with drugs while playing a role on Coronation St.

Coronation St????? I've been away too long:blink:
