My kids are all about this new Pokemon game. They were at the park yesterday and noticed a school friend sitting in a car in the parking lot. His dad had been driving them around all day to collect Pokemon. Not the child - the dad was collecting the Pokemon while the child sat and waited in the car.

On the plus side, I now know that there are three pokemon gyms and 10 pokestores within 2 minutes walk of my house, if I was ever to bother with the game. Apart from collecting the pokemon, I have no idea what the actual point of the game is. Training small animals to fight each other sounds more like a thing that Michael Vick would be into.

So, playing pokemon go in the apartment my OH has just moved into for grad school, I start randomly clicking on Pokestops to see where they are etc. We are new to the area so don't know a lot of places.

I click on a pokestop 0.2km from the apartment, thats a donut store hidden that we find out is amazing and is open 11PM-12PM. Yeah, an overnight, donut store!!!!

I knew this game would have its uses.

You missed my point. .... Bloody Americans, there is no such time as 12pm, or 12am for that matter. I miss the UK's 12noon and 12 midnight.

I have accustomed to saying pm and am when I usually refer to it as midday or midnight usually as it causes confusion with them! But I agree with you! It's correct form is 11pm until midday!

Most bakeries are going to be open early in the morning, and they are where you get the best donuts anyway. Look for one with a Polish name on it somewhere, they're the best

Dunkin Donuts is as well, but their donuts are shite these days.
