Sorry, I just thought it was a public performers trait... you know, to need an ego stroke, now and again?

No. I already know I'm good, I don't need my ego stroked, padded or anything else. I just want to play, get paid and try to get out of there without having to talk to any strangers ...

You understood that I was taking the piss, right?
As you say though... when you're good, you're good.

Aye. I was linking into a new pet peeve that I'm going to have to deal with on Friday and Saturday night. People who try to talk to me at gigs, during a song, and are drunk, annoying and not hot ...

Maybe you need to sit back further on the stage, and wear some shades, to complete the "unapproachable rock star", look.

If the stage is big enough to allow it, I do that. Friday's may be, Saturday's won't, because there is no stage in that place. What I do is put myself on the inside and let the other guy field the drunken requests

Same with my little one...but she still loves dolls....first thing she does it turn her room into a battle ground though, with all the pointy bits lying in wait, hidden under doll clothes...it's like the doll is getting revenge for you letting a kid play with them

Mine likes to leave her blocks on her bedroom floor. I'm convinced now that it's so when I'm trying to put her into her bed at night I will stumble, thus waking her up and making sure she's put back into my bed again.

Clever wee sod, isn't she?

Such a pain in the arse when you want to plug a good ol' sausage in to the mains...

The usual disclaimers apply - don't try this at home yada yada yada (try it at somebody else's home)

Or people who put a # before everything.

**** it. The very existence of Twitter is a pet peeve in itself ...

Twitter is handy, as is G+

People using the same software to post the exact same thing on all social media sites though, little annoying, be nice if the specific tags could be removed.

Be nice if the other platforms could get on with integrating G+ too...

Be nice if Tweetdeck would quit sucking giant elephant balls. I'm using DestroyTwitter, now which has a much smaller footprint, but it's also seriously lacking in some features.
