Well said. My 2o15 accord is a delight to drive and what's more important extremely reliable. A refreshing change after owning two Fords which were chronic transmission oil leakers and had the endearing habit of sudden engine cut out

Milk is certainly not marked in quarts here.
Ice Cream is sold in quarts and gallons in the US. Probably most liquid products sold in supermarkets here are in quarts and gallons, i.e. orange juice.

I love the milk bags you buy in Canada. My sister-in-law has a great jug that the bag slips into for pouring.

Milk in bags is an eastern Canadian* thing, out here in BC milk is sold either in cartons or plastic jugs.

*unsure how far east one needs to go until milk in bags start. I just know in BC we don't have milk in bags.

Our car has no fog lights and haven't had one that did.
I think we need to make a distinction between front and rear fog lights.

Front fog lights are considered a design feature these days, and lots of people drive with them on. They are present on almost any 'sporty' or high end car, including mustangs ...

I don't find their abuse (use when not foggy) to be much of an issue, because they are typically aimed low.

Rear fog lights, on the other hand, are an absolute distraction (when used in non-foggy conditions). I've been driving for 40 years and when I see a bright red light on the back of a car, my instinct is to brake. Following a guy with the rear fog light on drives me crazy as I have to keep telling myself he's not braking.

I see them on mercs, volvos, maybe VWs. It's definitely a European affliction.

Yeah, well these days they are becoming almost standard on all cars! They are more 'fashion accessory' than driving aid.

I thought using front fog lights in CA is part of the well known 'small penis' clan.

Additional traits include fat exhaust the size of a drainpipe, lowered suspension that crushes your spine on every pothole, rims that stick out 4 inches from the wheel arch, a selection of badges that include, turbo, power, injection, Wanker, Raiders, Honda etc etc

All the roundabouts near me have zebra crossings right next to them. Easy way to block the whole roundabout with one pedestrian. Luckily, Americans tend not to walk much so the crossings don't get used as much as they would in Britain, but it's a pain when they do.

Using front foglights back home in NI was always the international symbol for a car being driven by a cock. That's come with me over here, so every time I see someone doing it I automatically think they are a wanker.

The ones near me do as well. Luckily in this part of Canada most dont walk so hardly anyone ever crossing.

Using roundabouts here can be sketchy, most drivers dont know how to use one.
