U.K. you can find better and you can find worse. Depends what you want. East Yorks is vastly under rated, lovely countryside & beaches. Hull has friendly people. Some fab pubs and restaurants. Decent University. Still relatively affordable housing. Industry just about hanging on with Siemens building a new facility for wind turbines.
And Hull is the UK city of culture for 2017, so looking forward to a bit of investment and media attention.

People who bring their dogs onto our high school running track and ignore the "no animals" sign. Nothing worse than trying to jog a couple of miles with someone's yapping little pooch at their heels
