I know

Well, my wife in her capacity of controller/head of accounting is in with an owner now going over money stuff and I hear laughing, so maybe all is well for now.

I hope so. You and unemployment isn't a good combination.. you'd never be off here.

Actually, I'd scarcely be on, since I'd be at home with the ba. For all you lot, it's probably better that I do get laid off, or a new job, so I can't ruin all your days.

The evenings, though - I shall still ruin those

I hate handbags and refuse to buy one let alone use it. Maybe I should have posted this in Random Comment.

CD/DVD's not being put back in the right case...drives me batty.

People who ring you up, wait for the answering machine to go off, dawdle around and then not leave a message.

Knobjockies who get all arsey with you when you tell them they've got the wrong number.

People who don't return their shopping trolley, double annoying when there's a return jobby a couple of spots away.

The huge amount of food that's being wasted...local Target chucked everything, fresh and frozen into a skip when they lost power for 3 hours.

Weird things to recycle...baby food formula tubes, they're metal at each end, foil on the inside, yet cardboard tubes, so do they do in the metal or the cardboard recycle bins?

I do this just to see who'd phone me, without having to bugger about with all that talky talky crap...

WOW!!! So it happens to you too?

How many others are afflicted?

Is it contagious?

Will 'it' drop off???

Bread that has a twisty tie rather than the plastic clip thingy...especially the weedy ties...

The inability to ever get the last of the soap, or whatever out of those dispensers....meh.

I don't mind the twisties, but why are they always twisted the wrong way when you first attempt to take them off?

I'm not usually around in the evenings, so it'd be fine.
