My pet peeve today, is people whining that we whine too much about things we don't understand... Or is that people whining that we whine too much about things they don't understand we need to whine about??

Ah. I got it without the translation. ;) You may have to make it clearer for les "crustacés", though.

You're the second person to whine about that today, if you include me. ;)

I think the second one. Either way I'm in complete agreement.

My new pet peeve is office computers that commit suicide.

Daring to call thin strips of fat and gristle bacon.

Drivers that park their cars in cycle lanes - wankers.

Drivers that honk their horns when they get slowed down for a few seconds by a cyclist.

People that punch me for not wearing green on St Patrick's Day. Do it again and I'll break your f ucking nose.

People that ask me to repeat what I said just so they can hear me talk. Get fu cked I'm not a performing monkey.

Upon figuring out I'm from England, people that insist on telling me how their aunt's neighbour's cousin went to England once and going on about it for ten minutes especially when I'm trying to wrangle two tired and hungry kids back to the car.

Americans that feel the need to defend every aspect of American life and culture whenever us Brits complain about. The fact is there are many great things about America, but also some utter shit things. That is true for any country. As a whole Brits like to complain, it's what we're good at.

People who say "London" when they mean "England" ..

"Oh you're from London " they say when hearing me speak.

"Nope" I reply.

Silence and a confused expression follows.

Tossers.... I make a point of saying to any American I meet when not in the US "Oh you're from Washington" .

Actually I don't but think I should.

I was going to reply to this but decided there was no point as you already know what I'm going to say.
