I want a basement.

One day. :(

Pulaski Manor has a walk-in crawlspace with a dirt floor. What's the effin' point in that? :frown:

It's built as below grade, and yet it isn't. Kind of odd choice really. Probably due to the proximity of the river, but still strange.

Ours is basically just a downstairs with no drywall. The deepest below grade part is about 4'. You could, if you wanted to, put a door to the back yard in.

I had to remove one once. It stank the place up, and I was told to remove it when it started to permeate the house.

It's become something of a dumping ground for stuff including, among other things, a stack of rough-sawn 2x and 1x timber from my own trees, a sledge, my generator, some unused plumbing pipes, two animal traps, and my short extension ladder.

It is. Sort of narrow bit next to the furnace.

So you store boxes and boxes of paper next to your furnace?
