At the very least it is a brilliant piece of marketing.

Then, of course, there are always these fine products ...

Metals containing copper will do that, brasses, funnily enough, you know the stuff doorknobs used to be made of.

Silver works too

Sure, in the days of yore, but those nasty yellow brass handles that are popular in America are lacquered.

"But most importantly, a great friend will never let you puke on your hair" reminds me of a girlfriend when I was at university She's a partner in a law firm now......

The phrase "emotional intelligence".

We've even got a bloody class on it at work. No, I'm not going.

Nothing is free of germs. There are more bacteria living on and in us than there are cells in our own body. We need them to survive.

Obviously, there are worse things floating about there, like E. Coli and the like, but being all squeamish about taps, sinks and door handles doesn't really do anything.

It's like that hand sanitizer fad, I heard that there's nowhere near a high enough alcohol content in them to make them as good a disinfectant as hot, soapy water

We need to bring back the stocks for people who come up with terms like that, so we can all pelt them with rancid tomatoes ...

I experienced one of those at work about ten years ago (attendance was compulsory). We started off by "centering" which involved place our hands together near the pit of our stomach and meditating to clear our mind. This was accompanied by an explanation of how this would help our focus and that some of the senior managers were doing this before important meetings. WTF! ..... I suspect it was only the "no smoking" policy that saved us from someone lighting joss sticks.

Oh bloody hell, I should have realised that.

Is that the same as the 'circle time' my daughter does in daycare? No, it can't be, the level of maturity at a daycare would be greater and they actually achieve stuff in their circle time
