A couple of weeks back he came back from the toilet all excited...Dad, Dad, come see what I found in the toilet...somewhat nervously I followed him back and he showed me, as proudly as if he'd invented it himself, a sign etched into the door plate/handle proudly proclaiming that the handle was made of a specially treated metal that rendered it germ free. Forever. I have no idea if that is even possible, but it satisfied my first born!
Then, of course, there are always these fine products ...

At the very least it is a brilliant piece of marketing.

The phrase "emotional intelligence".
We've even got a bloody class on it at work. No, I'm not going.

Obviously, there are worse things floating about there, like E. Coli and the like, but being all squeamish about taps, sinks and door handles doesn't really do anything.
It's like that hand sanitizer fad, I heard that there's nowhere near a high enough alcohol content in them to make them as good a disinfectant as hot, soapy water

We need to bring back the stocks for people who come up with terms like that, so we can all pelt them with rancid tomatoes ...

..... I suspect it was only the "no smoking" policy that saved us from someone lighting joss sticks.

I experienced one of those at work about ten years ago (attendance was compulsory). We started off by "centering" which involved place our hands together near the pit of our stomach and meditating to clear our mind. This was accompanied by an explanation of how this would help our focus and that some of the senior managers were doing this before important meetings. WTF!

Oh bloody hell, I should have realised that.
Is that the same as the 'circle time' my daughter does in daycare? No, it can't be, the level of maturity at a daycare would be greater and they actually achieve stuff in their circle time
