That's what my neighbors say. Until the bill arives. I can buy a lot of beer for the difference between what I pay and what they pay.

We got new 'smart meters' installed in our area last summer and everybody's electricity bill literally doubled :eek:

Actually, I'm sort of with Jeff on this one. 74-76 in the high 80s and above is ok because the AC acts as a dehumidifier as well, pulling moisture out of the air so the slightly higher temperature is more bearable. Keep the air moving with fans and it's fine.
I just can't afford to run the air below 74 in the summer. |

I just can't afford to run the air below 74 in the summer. I cant afford not to run it at 70, and anything higher than 65 at night is just wrong. |
