Thanx SOS, actually can do without coffee at/after 9pm, but you don't want to be in my 'bubble' after 9am if I haven't had my coffee:lol:
It's an endoscopy, killer GERD and no meds seem to work, should be all good, just gotta map out the closest coffee shop for after I get out!:o |

I expect you will get the same advice I did. Cut out caffeine, chocolate, spicy food, greasy food and alcohol as they all make it worse. Although with me, citrus fruit, my dad's bacon sandwiches and fresh baked pretzels seem to be my triggers. I was on a PPI for over 15 years, until I weaned myself off them (long story) and now I can manage on eating sensibly and the odd Zantac if I have a blowout. |
Re: Pet Peeves?
Washing and drying machines, where you've got to spin the dials all the way around again if you go past the setting you needed.
It's only a small annoyance, but it grows on you.... Bit like the beep that they're both supposed to make when they're finished, yet half the time they don't. |
Re: Pet Peeves?
Bob's beep comment reminds me.....
Cooker timers that beep just once, if you miss it, you miss it and get burnt dinner. Microwave that beeps till you open the door. I heard it the first time, I am busy doing something, just stop, |

Now, where is the fun in that?
Can't afford a new washing machine anyway, so safe cracking it is :D |

Hope it goes well - been there, done that, got the t-shirt etc. My GERD is apparently due to a small hiatus hernia.

Nobody will want to be near you if the doc says you have to give up coffee altogether! It's very hard on your stomach, so hopefully they can sort it out without resorting to making you give up coffee. :fingerscrossed:
