Pet Peeves?

****wit neighbours who think the entire neighbourhood wants to hear their techno dance club shite with the bass as loud as it gets. FFS nobody wants to listen to that crap coming in their bedroom window at 12:30.

Imagine if this kind of behaviour led to frayed tempers... in a country where people have easy access to fire arms...

Yeah, I love it...
I'm going to add...winter pot holes. How the shitting hell can a road that has been resurfaced during the summer resemble a artilary target range after just a couple of storms. There's a stretch of road in Dover, NH that was munted, from the motorway all the way through.
There's also a stretch of road in our town that's between two main roads that are being worked on, they finally filled in massive potholes two weeks ago. The potholes are now back and bigger than ever, you can see 3-4 different layers of skinny top that's come off and then further deepness to the hole.
I also really love how if folks bother to clear out the snow from the pavement by their house, that they then do their drive way and then create a barrier to the pavement that is impossible to walk through....awesome stuff when lugging a kid in a pushchair.
Love how the towns around here just don't even bother to clear footpaths or park areas of any snow what so ever, so there's even less to do in winter as there's now no walking paths around.
And just so it's not all about the snow.
This particular entry ramp to the Mass pike, how it is a hairpin bend that has two lanes merging into one on the apex of the bend made even more entertaining when just past the apex, there is another two lanes coming down a hill merging together, merging into your entry ramp....where the speed limit jumps from 30 to 65mph. Which is awesome because who needs a chance to build up any speed after taking a hairpin blind bend...just for the speed limit to drop to 50mph a mile or so up the road.
And again, what the klunge is the point of having an EZPass toll booth if they close them, making you swerve across 4 lanes and then to swerve back across 4 lanes because you're now on the exit ramp to somewhere else....you might even have the lucky bonus of some knobsplash slowing down to 10mph to go through the thing when there's a 25mph limit that no one in MA bothers to notice, just because that's the speed limit of the booth up in Maine.

I've never bothered with this thread before, but if that is Bob's standard I will be back. Bugger all to moan about here tonight. I have leftovers and beer. The world is good.

My list of peeves has been brewing a bit since the summer...my head might explode with the bottled up rage if I decide to list the annoyances since I started this thread

I like that, "a slither of snow".
