Way back around 2000 we were on holiday in Orlando. My brother & his future wife joined us. He had an FC UK t shirt, which got him a rebuke from a local fat boy sherriff who refused to accept the explanation that FC UK was a clothing company. The sherriff even suggested the t shirt was spelt wrong. He wasn't the only one. So my bro wore it out as often as he could...

Incidentally, is that the real reason cops are armed? That it's easier to just shoot a suspect than chase them down, especially if you look like a big fat fat person...

Cradle of Filth have a T-shirt that says "Jesus is a ******" on it. I think that's caused a bit of controversy for some reason.

Well, christianity is a cult and he's the focus of it, so what's the problem?

ETA - OK, I just googled it and the "C" word is spelled in full, which I hadn't realised. They're a lovely bunch, aren't they??

I can not take things like that seriously, I know they want me to be shocked and horrified, but it just makes me think they are being silly little boys.

There is one benefit in that if you happen to accidentally stand on one in bare feet, it doesn't result in near-amputation

I find the fully grounded ones stay in the sockets quite well, but they're hardly universal - our hoover certainly doesn't have one.

In some cases I have the opposite problem.. certain plug + outlet combinations that fit in so snugly that they are very hard to pull out.

Usually that happens to me if the prongs get bent, or if I'm using a six-gang.
