Simple: you just eliminate 12th Grade from school. If that doesn't give you enough money, well, start counting down.

After all, an edumacated populace is the greatest threat to these fscking loonbags (sadly, that means they probably don't have too much to worry about <re-sigh>)

Imagine how much we could save if we eliminate school totally??

Just rying this on for size:
President Palin...
President Sarah Palin....
Madame President....
The First Gentleman (theat would be Mr Sarah Palin)....
Nah. Don't think so unless we really ARE trying to be the laughingstocks of the rest of the World.
On the positive side it would truly illustrate that ANYTHING ---even something really, really stupid-----is possible in the USA.
How easy is it to relocate to Canada?

Anything is possible, i.e. how did you like the title PM Thatcher?

Why is it that it always seems to be those on the Left that say "If "X" gets elected I'm leaving."? It's my theory that most of the people that say that would rather be living somewhere else anyway and are just using the elections as an excuse. That, and they're into the dramatic aspect of flouncing out of the Country in protest. Of course, I doubt that 1 in 100 actually does it. One problem with this plan is that they assume other Countries will want them and it's not always the case. I believe I read that some actually tried after Bush was elected the 2nd time, and found it wasn't as easy as they thought it would be.

Maybe that's an issue with the Democrats, they are trying to leave the country after they lose while when the Republicans suffer defeat at the polls they seem to work on getting their guy in the next time around. :sneaky:

Oh I don't know, I think stupid is pretty much a equal opportunity characteristic, regardless of the country.
I was reading about how Mossad is being accused of again using forged British passports in their latest action after being told off about it before.

Cutting and running because of a current politcal regime is not something I would consider unless I knew my life was in danger.

I'm not sure patriotism plays a part in it. I just think that many progressives begin to wonder why they bother sticking around and fighting if the kind of State they are trying to create already exists somewhere else.

I sent nethead an 'lol' smiley, but ABY, you're around my age and grew up in the US.. do you really think gov't/policies in the US are the same as when we were kids? You don't see any differences? You really think progressives are trying to make some mini-Europe?
Or do you think some of them might just be pushing back against the continual erosion of some basics like improved infrastructure?

thinking about this now I would agree that in this country you hear this more from the left - while in Britain you hear it more from the right IMHO

I was being sarcastic, but you may be onto something.
