We watched a film called The Reeds on Netflix last night. It's Brirish set in Norfolk About a group of friends who go boating and get lost. All manner of horrid spooky things happen. It was proper scary and I haven't seen a film that gave me the Heebie Jeebies in years. Well worth a look

I was going to make a snarky comment about Norfolk giving everyone the Heebie Jeebies, but thought better of it as Poppy girl might come down the hill and kick my arse....

I do quite like Norfolk - always fancied doing a boat trip, maybe this movie wouldn't be the one to watch and maintain that hope?

The Norfolk tourist board prob wasn't best pleased. Might not be best idea to watch this prior to taking a trip. It's on streaming

Has this been discussed yet? Scandal

We're addicted!

It has invoked the discussion at home about do we really want to know what happens behind the scenes at the white house / CIA / Secret service.....

There's a certain amount of bodice-ripping that we could do without.

I love netflix for all the British stuff they have - I hope we go to download only soon I have had so many bad discs. On a side note buying Netflix stock today was awesome! They are doing well and had a massive jump - when it pulls back after several down days maybe a good play to pay for the annual service soon!

There can never be too much bodice ripping. Maybe I'll have to give this show a look.

I'm late to this thread; has it already been discussed that Netflix streaming has lost access to about 1,800 movies? The studios seem to be stupidly trying to get people to go to their own sites rather than a common site such as Netflix. This is the battle decidedly won on the music front by iTunes already, and Netflix will win on the movie front, so the studios are smoking crack ...

I discovered this the other day when trying to introduce a young friend to the classic 'Airplane' ... no longer available for streaming. I had to go dig for the DVD disk which I had buried in my office!

On the plus side, he was able to introduce me to "Portlandia", which was extremely funny.

I thought the Netflix catalogue was constantly updating with some moving out and others coming in?

It might have been mentioned already, but have most people seen the Netflix original (apart from the minor detail that it was stolen from Blighty ) House of Cards? I am rewatching the first season now, it really is excellent.
