Re: Netflix
Just streamed Cemetery Junction. A very minor little British movie, but I've seen a lot worse.

Saw 2010 The Runaways. Interesting story, boring movie. Got great reviews, I don't know why.

Saw 1999 Election. Pleasant enough.

Outcasts
A 2010 British TV series.
Earth is in a bad way and a group of people (seemingly all British) move to another planet.
This got awful reviews and is very slow, but I'm going to get the second disc of episodes as it has its intriguing aspects.
It has Ros from MI-5, Davos Seaworth and the brother of the girl on the inside in the first Resident Evil film in leading roles.

Re: Netflix
Recent Netflix watches:
Thor which was basically terrible but had some interesting visuals. Kenneth Branagh directed this... really?
Foyle's War which I'm sure I dont need to tell anyone here about.
Microcosmos which is a cool documentary about tiny things filmed with special cameras. A bit "Koyaanisquatsi": made for people who are slightly stoned.
The Secret World of Arrietty which is a Studio Ghibli (Japanese makers of Spiritied Away, Ponyo, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky etc) take on "The Borrowers". Fantastic kids movie, as usual from this studio.
Dhani Tackles the Globe an entertaining little series wherein an NFL linebacker travels the globe to try out local sports.
How It's Made which is basically video crack to me.
Hell on Wheels which is a 2004 documentary about the T-Mobile cycling team's experience in the preceeding year's Tour de France. It gives you a good idea of what it's like to be a pro cyclist. Hint: it's hard and fairly unglamourous.
The Host which is an excellent South Korean horror film.
