You're correct about the overseas blocking, but that's easy to circumvent with a VPN.

Found a really cute Brit movie on Netflix that we watched tonight. It is called Sixty Six. It's about a young boy and his bar mitzvah being on the same day as the 1966 World Cup final. It had some good sixties music in it as well

Thanks for the suggestion....I'll take a look.
I watched "outsourced" the other night about a USC traveling and working in India and the cultural clashes......a Niven feel good movie

Watched Easy A over the weekend about a high school girl who lies about losing her virginity, then starts helping some of the other less popular kids out by pretending that she slept with them, too. Stars Emma Stone and Penn Badgley. It's charming, witty, clever and references a bunch of John Hughes movies. Emma Stone is great in it.

I've just started to watch Cracker, I remember seeing a couple of episodes towards the end but didn't watch the earlier ones. They are so good, I had forgotten how good Robbie Coltrain is as an actor.

We watched Buried last night starring the lovely Ryan Reynolds. It only got 2 starts on Netflix but the reviews varied wildly from 5 Star to 1 star so I think you either love it or hate it. I would give it 4 because it was completely different

Yep, don't think much of it so far. It's hard to search and the movies are quite old. I'm sure it will continue to evolve though.

Anyone following the talks at GDC, Nintendo announced that the 3DS will get netflix streaming....which should be pretty cool, even 3D content for 3D movies and trailers, don't know how well that'll work, but quite nice not needing glasses for it

How does it compare to Netflix, which also seems to have old movies?

Well I don't find it very easy to search for stuff. You really have to know the names of the films/series etc. Whereas I like the Netflix interface. It's easy to search and add things to your instant/dvd queue.

Father-in-law was showing me Prime as he gets it through his Roku and it just seemed like you picked a category and spent hours scrolling through. The setup may be different on other devices though.

Also it didn't seem to have anything that Netflix didn't already have.
