Can't argue with that.

Son is sure I'm going to get a corvette. I cleared out one side of the garage a while back and he was absolutely convinced it was so we could fit one in. He's tried every reason from Christmas present to myself, birthday present for wife, "because you deserve it, Dad" (wife nearly choked on her cornflakes at that one), to helping the economy! He really pushed it when he tried the "it'll be over 2 years old when I get my learners permit, and you always said I wouldn't be getting a new car to learn in"I love his optimism, but perhaps needs a little realism thrown in with it......thing is, you just know that someone in the High School parking lot will be driving one.....

Some things are best left a mystery, I think.

The latest Corvette is more powerful, faster, and dare I say it handles as well as the Lotus potentially. I'm putting on my hard hat as I know I'll get flamed to death by some of the old farts here for saying this, but I really think I'd take the Corvette over the Lotus. Maybe.

Shame we can't just get one of each, isn't it?

Oh, to be rich

Unless you're talking about Corvette drivers, what does any of this have to do with cars?

Corvette or Lotus....... I can think of worse dilemmas. I think that classes as first world problems

The 'vette is a lovely looking car. Doesn't matter to me really. There are lots of cars out there, faster, more powerful etc, but there are VERY few I would prefer over a Lotus.

Ditto Motorcycles and Triumph Triples.

I said that Arab-oil-baron-magnet monstrosity that someone posted a link to was as ugly as a whale's penis.

It was vaguely on topic.

And most likely to be driven by one.
