I'm seven years older than Khalid and everybody thinks we are the same age. BTW I got carded at a restaurant the other day when I ordered a glass of wine. It absolutely cracked me up. I was old enough to be the waiter's mother. 
Then he didn't card my sister (she's 42) and she got all indignant. That cracked me up even more.

My husband's sister lives in the U.S. and is a good friend of mine. She introduced us (gave him my address). We wrote and e-mailed for a while, it didn't take too long for either us to figure we weren't going to stay "just friends" for long.

I met Bill in a chatroom in 1998 by a mistake (he thought I was somebody else because our nicks were the same).
We met in person in summer 1999, when I got a summer job in the States.
Then we haven't seen each other for 2 years, although we stayed in touch as friends.
In September 2001 we met again....in February 2003 Bill proposed and we got married on October 25, 2003.
We filed for AOS and now we are waiting......grrrr.

Khalid looks about 12 years old without a beard. Luckily, he hates to shave so he'll alway opt for a beard, even a goatie reduces the shaving a little bit.

How funny. I have a goatee and the only time I'm allowed to shave it off is when I wont be seeing Sandy. What is it with you women and facial hair. Last night we were on the phone making wedding plans and one of her big requests was that I grow back the goatee before the wedding. Forget the wedding vows and guest list. 
As for the original question, Im 35, Sandy is 29 and we met in a Mexican restuarant in mid-town Sacramento (Cali) almost 3 years ago and have been insperable ever since. (except for this time going through the K1 process)
