While you're waiting for Nutek's horses, you can have a look at this video from Darryl Braithwaite (Aussie) and Margaret Urlich (Kiwi) The gee-gees only make a couple of appearances, but it's a nice song!

What a handsome pair! Thank you for the pics, Nutek!
And thanks for the video, SOS -- it is a nice song. Made me think about riding in North Wales on my summer holidays when I was a kid. For a few years I rode this big black guy called Thunder, whom I adored, and who in return dumped me on my back during a gallop on the sands one day!

No, in those days I just jumped up and got back on. Today, someone would be putting all the shattered pieces in a bag!

Re: Home and garden projects
I finally got my under- and over-cabinet LED light project completed in the kitchen. The installation was complicated by the fact that the cabinets are split by a pass- through gap to the master bedroom, laundry, and garage, so although I used the spare socket where the over-the-stove microwave plugs in for one side, I had to wire in a new supply for the other side.
Although all the LED strip lights are a "plug in" design, I snipped the plugs off, joined them in junction boxes (using standard US screw caps, per US electrical code) and linked them all back to a single plug (on each side) that plugs into either the spare microwave socket or the new in-cabinet socket I installed for the purpose. On both sides I installed a surface-mount back-box attached to the underside of the cabinets, and then used a double rocker switch, with the left side for the under-cabinet lights and the right side for the over-cabinet lights.
The over cabinet lights make the kitchen bright enough that the main strip light over the island counter isn't usually needed, and the under cabinet lights are all you need for food prep on the counters, or to leave on in the evening. As our living room is open to the kitchen, using only the under-cabinet lights removes the problem of the ceiling light reflecting off the TV screen, but still leaves plenty of light enough to get drinks or snacks in the kitchen
I think each light only uses about 3½ Watts, so they are super efficient, and use less than 70W if they are all on. Mrs P is very pleased with the results. .... Though she was less so on Christmas day when I connected the final set (the over-cabinet lights, cooker side of the kitchen) between her putting dinner in the oven and needing to start cooking the vegetables. She said I had about an hour and half to "do stuff" after she had done the food prep, but then asked me what I was doing when I moved the knife block and cleared the counter.
