Frivolous things I don't understand

Re: Frivolous things I don't understand
I prefer my pizza with a very thin crispy base...with blackened dough bubbles on the edge. Minimum tomato sauce. My favourite topings are caramelised onions or red onions, mushrooms and peppers.
A restaurant near me serve a pizza to die for...I call it the breakfast pizza. The base is as described above...toppings: no tomato sauce, very thinly sliced potatoes, 2 eggs (cooked on the pizza), bacon and rosemary.

None of you hosers north of the border have run into a Poutine pizza, then?

Where to eat poutine pizza in Toronto
ETA: May have to make a special outing to Bannock in Toronto. Roast duck poutine pizza sounds rather good.

Strange you should mention that. This post is a couple of years old now, but I still haven't got around to sampling the delights...

Poutine pizza? Sacre bleu! It doesn't sound good. What next, "sausage and mash pizza"? Just because you can combine great foods it doesn't always mean you should.

The grade of oil specified by Toyota (5w30, 10w30, etc), and you can't do better than using the Mobil 1 "full synthetic" brand of that grade IMO. All the other leading brands of oil are selling oil that is not full synthetic but marketing it as "full synthetic", which thanks to an idiot judge, in Chicago IIRC, is legal!
Everywhere including supermarkets sells fully and partially synthetic oil and have to mark it as such, but as long as its labelled as meeting the uk or european spec your car maker says to use, use the cheapest, its sufficient, just remember to change it when the maker says to.

Not that anyone can actually afford to get shitfaced in Canada, of course.
I'd eat a poutine pizza sober though, but that's just me.

What's the word for "less than the sum of their parts"?? Definitely prefer poutine au naturel. Just love the stuff. Pizza too, but who doesn't!

I know, I know, poutine is magical, as is pizza. I still want to try it just once though, to at least satisfy my curiosity. I mean, it might be minging but at least I'll know. Toronto is only a 10 hour drive away, too

I experienced Mac n Cheese Pizza. The pizza had it's usual helping of cheese then mac n cheese baked on top. This was in Madison, WI (of course). Only had it drunk, so can only vouch it was great drunken food.

I've had chicken tandoori pizza which I used to quite like. Especially after a few drinks.
