Flour
A quick question for the bakers:
What is the equivalent of self-raising flour here?
Thanks,

Re: Flour
It isn't used too much here, but the King Arthur Flour site says this:
Self-rising flour is simply flour with the baking powder and a bit of salt already added. It's a staple in many Southern recipes; it's traditionally made from a softer, lower protein version of all-purpose flour, which is what grows there. You can make your own in a jiffy, to use in any recipe that calls for self-rising flour.
* 1 cup King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
* 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/4 teaspoon salt

Re: Flour
As stated, make your own, you will most likely have the baking powder and salt if you're serious about baking.
