My brother (in England) is a plumber. I was talking about walk in bath tubs with him as our mother is elderly and her shower is over the bath, but she doesn’t want the bath removed although she rarely uses it. He said that they are terrible as they all leak!

Is that because you have to send 'it' to the Caribbean for 9 months a year to rest and top up on the tan?

All joking aside, the cost of some of these walk-in showers makes you wonder if they should include the model.

A thing I don't understand is why some of the big new builds that I work on have the large, windowless, closet on the far side of the master bathroom. These rooms have large open shower areas and the thought of showering, creating a nice steamy fug, retiring to the closet to dress and then having to walk back through a wet shower room just doesn't make any sense at all.

Edit: And shower every time, no self respecting working man wants to sit in a swill of sweat and construction site dust, the idea is to leave cleaner than you went in....
