Boris isn't PM (yet) and the PM can't just call an election. Due to the Fixed Term Parliament act there are actually limited options on calling a snap election. Vote of no confidence in the Government is the main one I think.

Where are those figures from? I read it was 69% of Labour supporters that voted to remain, and 43% of Tories (according to YouGov). Maybe there is some media manipulation going on again.

They are Lord Ashcroft exit polls so likely within the margin of error of what you quote:

I don't think it is a margin of error at all. Margins of error are usually 2-3% or so.

The YouGov poll showed that almost 70% of Labour voters voted for remain. Which is what the remain camp wanted, and if more then all good and dandy.

It is interesting how figures get seized upon in the media -and thus by ordinary people- and later we see that actually they are either a. untrue, b. contestable, or c. lies.

21 July. The Tories will then elect a new leader so we'll have a new Prime Minister by the time term starts again on 5 September.

According to the BBC the British Banks are well capitalized and there's no reason for the pound to get pounded. The globalists are going to get their licks in to prevent anymore countries from jumping ship.

The future of England and whomever wants to stay on board is outside the EU which is really going to be Germanized into a super state. The emerging markets make for better bedfellows. England needs to get on with it and quit looking back.

It occurred to me today that if Brexit had been decided the same way as other decisions are made, the UK would not be leaving the EU. The peoples elected representatives in Parliament appear to have wanted to stay. This just shows how out of touch the MPs are with the people. So much for democracy.

You could say the same about so many other things, anyway from a slightly detached point of view will be interesting to see what happens. Seems anybody's guess.

Some of the possibilities.

UK voted for Brexit – but is there a way back? | Politics | The Guardian

It all looks a bit like a long-term stalemate is what we'll be getting.

The consequences may be that the majority of MPs are concerned about whether they will be re-elected and therefore may drag things out through indecisiveness.
