Made mine from scratch - used Delia too (with appropriate substitutions)

Cooked it in the slow cooker / crockpot in pyrex (a handy hint I read somewhere) was the first time I'd done it like that - was fantastic - just went out and left it cos it couldn't go dry like a pan could

maybe you could start a cottage industry..I'd buy one !

So do you just sit the pyrex in the slow cooker and turn it on - no water or anything? does it take same amount of time as steaming or longer?

I only ask as i did let one saucepan go dry last year making mine (well it was going for flipping hours) and it has damaged the pan.

Ok, I may have exaggerated a tad, it was definitely over $2 though!

I'd have bought more than one if they were that price. I also bought a Topic - which appear to have shrunk since the last time I had one. Either that or my hands have grown.
