Re: BritBox
I need some help.
Spent Friday evening and a little of Saturday using Britbox on our Roku. Everything was great. Then it kept asking me to subscribe even though I had already done that. I unprescribed and tried to start again but it kept saying I was already subscribed:unsure: I emailed them but not heard back from either roku or britbox. Suggestions, anyone? |
Re: BritBox

I called and while they didn't call back they fixed it. Then today I got an email asking me if the fix had worked. Did take them 3 days to email. Try and log in using their web site. If you can and you have another email address you can use, go to your account page cancel the first account and then set up another one. Like most new computer based services they didn't seem to have it quite right out of the box. Other than that as the log in problems seem to have been resolved just see if you can log in on your Roku box again. |

There was a bit of a glitch over the early part of the weekend and it wasn't holding the log in. I had to log in everytime I went to use it. It seems to be cured now.

Re: BritBox
Went out and got a Roku Express so I could get in on the action. For $29, it was better than waiting for the Fire TV app!
Set it up today (my first day off since it arrived) and signed up for the 7 day trial, with every intention of supporting the service. After 19 years here, it's nice to be able to watch Eastenders without searching torrents, hoping the site doesn't go down (lost two sources over they years!) and, yes, skirting the law! I can finally support the programming I want to watch! If a Fire TV app comes out tomorrow, I'm only out the $29 and I could probably return it if it's not too long. If it is, then the $30 was worth it to be watching now. P.S. Watched the first ever episode of Porridge. I almost (almost) forgot how funny it was! "I read a book once. Green it were"!!! |
Re: BritBox
can you sideload the android Britbox app?
How to side-load apps on to the Amazon Fire TV - Geek.com It's sad when people trying to make profit from a legitimate site http://britboxtv.com/ |
Re: BritBox
Still enjoying Britbox:thumbup:
I have been watching Scott and Bailey, I really like it! M has been in the garage playing with his works in progress so I've been binge watching ;) |
Re: BritBox
Loving my Britbox.
Just about every episode of Doctor Who has now been added (classic series, not the 2005+ stuff) and now, EVERY episode of Red Dwarf! Having gotten herself hooked on Lewis and Endeavor, DW is working her way through Inspector Morse. Of course, we're enjoying the legit version of EastEnders and getting re-hooked on Casualty, having not watched for over 20 years (spoiler alert: Charlie's still on it!). There's only seven episodes and we've watched five so far, but we're enjoying New Blood. (BTW, Ken, I tried side-loading on the Fire TV but failed, so enjoying the Roku). |
