Aye, no answers just fluff. I would love for this all to be explained, however the sudden increase in cases has not. As such the risks versus precautionary measures ... that a tiny number of parents are asking for (make that demanding, save your right testicle etc) are unrealistic IMO. Please refer to post #144 since you questioned where I was on this forum. I attempted to put this thread to bed thank you. But yourself and Mr P will need your say again no doubt, like a petulant child, either on this thread or others.

I think everyone would like it explained, but meanwhile denying it is a real phenomenon makes no sense.

Exactly! We'll never find answers to why childhood (& adult) allergies are seeming to increase if we all bury our heads in the sand and say, like the OP, that it's not a "real" problem today because it wasn't such a problem when we were growing up.

Things change, knowledge changes, new diseases and medical conditions appear (or change) all the time. The last time I lived in the USA, Lyme disease was not a concern anyone talked about. Now--20 years later--it's a huge problem. So...things change, and we need to keep up.
