Anyone experiencing the extreme cold?

What a crazy weather pattern.
I'm sitting here on my patio in shorts and a t-shirt sipping iced tea.

Bully for you, the temperature is dropping like a rock here. :( ... It's forecast to be down around 10°F by 6am +/- 1hr tomorrow. No doubt Sultan will be along shortly to tell me that I have nothing to complain about.

In the land of the snowbird, your neighbors must think you're barking mad.

My dad said it was -29 with the wind chill in Louisville, KY..not sure if that's accurate though.

Will be minus 15 F here tonight - not counting the wind chill - so that will make it much lower. Bitter cold - I'm used to cold winters here but not usually this cold.

Re: Anyone experiencing the extreme cold?

Temp has been dropping all day currently 1F with a windchill of -12F we've been getting light lake effect snow off the lake all day so lots of snow drifts too.

Tis not so bad, last year we went skiing in -20F, once the temp gets that low its a good idea to shield your eyes (sunglasses) and make sure you cover as much of your face as you can, at -20F even your snot will freeze.

I was working in Tahoe today and I thought I was going to freeze on the spot when I got out of the car, and it's worse elsewhere no idea how you guys handle it......I remember when I lived in Canada I would walk out the back door and into the front in that short space of time the hairs in my nose would freeze lol
