Re: 2020 Election
All the debates are in the books and everything I said happened between Trump vs Biden.
Trump is bombastic and that will never be more influencing with the American people compared to smart informative debating.
Biden is smarter, more informed and the cherry on the top he is a decent caring person.
Everyone who thought Trump would destroy Biden in a one on one debate has learned a lesson.
Don't be impressed with loud emotional people. Just like Trump they are overrated.
We are here in Michigan getting the vote out and let me say how wonderful it is to see so many Biden/Harris signs. For every Trump sign there are two Biden/Harris signs here in Michigan. And I LOVE it. And more importantly my wife loves it. She has been saying if Trump wins we must pack up and leave for Europe.
To that I say go Biden!
I must say during our time in Michigan, we have found this state and its people to be amazing. So friendly and kind and out going. I hate to say it but I think Michigan is probably nicer than my state of Florida. And here wearing mask is mandatory. In Florida they don't wear mask. Instead Florida does herd immunity. Thank goodness only 12 more days till the election.

Personally I didn't watch the debates, 4 years of this shit was enough for me that I doubt Trump could've changed my mind if he gave me a million bucks and a blowjob. I voted today anyway so even if he offers it's too late.

Re: 2020 Election
I gave the debate to Biden on points.
Had his opponent been a younger Biden he'd have lost by a knockout... but he's lucky, Trump has no brain.
Biden came across as, well what he is, an old man trying really hard to convince voters that he's still 70.

Personally I think the debate was a draw, neither really got the upper hand, but at this point that is a win for Biden. Trump has to do something, or cause Biden to do something, that would change the narrative. That didn't happen.
I was happy to see Biden shrug off the NYP story about Hunter than is so obviously crap, I was worried he was going to lose his temper over that one.

Not sure that debates ever really change or make up anyone's mind, in any quantity at least. They always seem more like competitions watched by their respective fans, with each side cheering for its team and claiming victory.
In this case, as long as Biden wasn't steam-rollered, which he clearly wasn't, none of the rest really matters since, as sad as that may be, all that really matters at the moment is "not Trump". The country can't take another four of that, and god help us all if he gets in.

Re: 2020 Election
I am not a Yank and don't wanna be one. I guess I would consider spending 4 months a year in one of the Southern states to escape the brutal Canadian winters but that is more likely to be 4 or 5 years down the road.
My question is for the number of female BE posters we have living in the US who post on here.
Do you as a female feel represented by either of these 2 x white males in their 70's who are not short of a bob or two feel that they are looking after your concerns. Out of the 350 million who live in the USA could either party not have picked a better candidate to become the next President?

I can tell you that my wife, much to my chagrin, is all in for Trump. He is anti-abortion (for the last few years anyway), she is anti-abortion.
That's all that matters to her.

I live with a milder version of that. I always vote Working Families Party, my wife always votes Democratic.
