Re: 2020 Election

Regarding signatures, and based on my limited experience, if it definitely looks different from the name or the exemplar it goes to a supervisor. Generally "on it's face" is the rule. If it looks like what its says it is it is good..
As for mortgages I know the closers may instruct you to sign full name etc this is a misinterpretation of the rules for fannie/freddie/gennie/fha and not a big deal.

incidentally last week i had to re sign a quit claim on my exs condo due to different requirement now she is selling.. Legal description per county was not adequate apparently

OMG - the first debate tomorrow!

I don't know if I can stand to watch it live ... I think I'll record it, and then read about it on here first and then decide if I can bear to watch it! :)

I can never watch debates, but I will look for any clips of Trump, I am sure he will say something or 2 that will be entertaining.

I would never stay up that late, so am recording it and will watch when I get up at 4am before I read any articles on it.

US State Department sent this in an email today.

Consider posting to your Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or other social media account that you are an active voter and will be dropping off or mailing your Federal Post Card Application or completed ballot. Use #ProudOverseasVoter to help get the word out about voting.

Re: 2020 Election

Simple question I have about mail-in voting. If I vote tomorrow, does my vote get processed, counted, etc or does it simply sit there in a pile waiting to be processed on election day? That is, I guess - are votes allowed to be counted ahead of time, or just received? If all mail-in votes are received 'in good time', I would like to think all this concern about 'delays' would be misplaced.

I think it varies state to state, some on receiving the ballot some 7 days before election day, some 14 days before. The delays come from mailed in on election day ballots, that take a while to get to a counting station.

It depends on the state.

Well, that's going well.
First segment we've had both candidates call the other a liar, several times and Chris Wallace terminated the first section when Biden said 'this is so unpresidential...shut up, man' (addressing Trump, not Wallace.).
