Hope not. Maybe we learned lessons in Iraq and Vietnam. Of course, if the Norks hit us with their nukes, we should know what to do. I think their next gen missiles might be able to reach San Fran...it would be interesting to see what the libs would do if they took out the city.
Hard not to conclude that the Iraq invasion was a huge clusterfuck.

Either him or Rubio, probably the best people on that side. Saw Rubio on Bret Baier's program this evening. He's probably the most fluent and persuasive of them all on a whole range of topics and is really their best bet.
Interesting stuff on the other side: Biden insiders feel Clinton stalking - POLITICO Story suggests that Clinton's people have done their oppo research on Diamond Joe and are ready to unload on him if he dares to run.

Bush started the war in Iraq and the war was lost during his term. Using GOP logic, one must conclude that it had nothing to do with him.

The Republicans remind me of the Black Knight, refusing to acknowledge their own failures even when it is painfully obvious to everyone else.

Not only that, but if someone is elected, let's say, on the promise of fixing Bush's Fault in Iraq and screws up the fix, it's still Bush's Fault, because without the invasion and occupation of Iraq in the first place, that someone wouldn't have needed to attempt to fix the unfixable.
So, everything bad remains Bush's Fault until the next Republican is elected. If that happens to be Rubio, then everything bad will be Rubio's Fault until the next Republican after him is elected. See how it works? Easy peasy.

No straw man here. I'm fully and freely acknowledging that the invasion and occupation of Iraq and all the consequences flowing therefrom was/is Bush's Fault.
