He must be mistaken. Trump says this is naughty and nothing to do with him.

Edit as Dakota already linked to the story but picked up another aspect of it...

Donald Trump wants Nigel Farage to be the UK ambassador to the USA. Another fail at knowing how statesmanship works - Mr Trump doesn't seem to realise that Ambassadors are supposed to be diplomats and as apolitical as possible, representing the government and the Queen and the interests of the UK. Not a BFF you can laugh and joke with and get you to do your dirty work back home.

“But one thing Mr Trump kept returning to was the issue of wind farms. He is a complete Anglophile and also absolutely adores Scotland, which he thinks is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

“But he is dismayed that his beloved Scotland has become over-run with ugly wind farms, which he believes are a blight on the stunning landscape.”
Back to worrying about his golf courses then? So much for blind trusts for business interests.

And the US political news this morning keeps getting more interesting

Donald Trump backtracks on vow to 'lock up' Hillary Clinton over emails

I'm sure his supporters will just enjoy hearing this news

Also, some have speculated that the comments made to Farage regarding the ambassadorship and wind farms, had they been made after Trump been confirmed as President (December 19th), could have been considered the first test of the Emoluments Clause in the US Constitution to try and impeach Trump.

I find it amazing that Farage is moaning that the PM is ignoring Trump's recommendation, I thought UKIP wanted the UK to run itself and ignore outside influences but as soon as Trump says he should get a new job they should suddenly be listening?

It does fit with Trump's message about jobs and the economy - if you are in a county that is generating GDP, it's not as likely that his message will resonate. Conversely, if you are in a county that is struggling, it might resonate more loudly.

Another interesting observation is that Clinton 'won' a large number of counties that are on the border with Mexico. Might indicate a concern about how Trump's immigration policy may be implemented, or may also indicate that the illegal migrant 'crisis' is more hyperbole than substance.

That southern area of Texas is traditionally democrat. Just not enough to carry the state. And they are in opposition to his desire to build a wall.

I'm guessing they also have approximately that percentage of population.

Jesus H. Christ. I'm already sick of this drama queen and he hasn't even been inaugurated.
