It goes back to his temperament. I don't think he could play it straight if he tried. This is him, his ego is everything, he has no toolkit to respond to his current situation. I expect him to lash out, double down and keep digging.

If this wasn't the presidential election his toolkit would work, it would include threatening lawsuits, sending the lawyers, etc etc. doesn't work here.

I apologize in advance but I'm going to be very shallow ...

FFS they looked a mess! Could he not have got wardrobe and make-up in there to spruce them up a little? I know they are just normal women (other than Paula Jones, I have never known WTF she was playing at) but if you are going to slap them in front of national TV cameras to prop up your revenge campaign --- couldn't you tart them up a little bit?!?!?

Exactly. Apparently his lawyers sent a threatening letter to the NYT after the NYT published the leaked 1995 tax return story. I'm sure the NYT was really, really scared by that!

I imagine they had to look dowdy as otherwise Trump's normal urges might have been inappropriately triggered.

Today Clinton leads by 11 points in a 4 way race and by
14 against Trump alone. Meanwhile Republicans are rearranging the deck chairs.

Meanwhile Pence pulled a Trump by denying he said what he did about Syria..in spite of video proof.

No. I'm serious. They looked "ok" at the debate but not at the press conference. At the press conference they looked like 3-day-old hell. You could tell they flew them in and marched them straight to that farce of a banana republic press conference.

Oh and, at the debate, they sat with the Trump family who wouldn't even look at them or speak to them. Wow.

I've never seen Ivanka look as uncomfortable as she did last night. I was so glad that Chelsea took the high road and smiled and talked to her father when they walked in to take their seats. Can't have been easy.

I thought that Ivanka and Melania alternately looked both furious and miserable.

What an absolute bloody farce 'Election 2016' has turned out to be.

How anyone can say Trump won last night's debate is beyond me. Snorting like a pig made me feel sick. I swear if he says bigly one more time I will throw myself over the balcony. We've heard enough about Bill Clinton...he isn't running for office so please stop bringing him up. If you have proof his wife bullied, stalked these 'women'...then she is fair game..but her husband has nothing to do with this election. Clinton should wipe that smug grin off her face.

I wonder how long Trump and Clinton's marriage will last once they are no longer in politics.

So bloody sick and tired of the pair of them.

There are two alternatives: Gary Johnson and Jill Stein. I've been checking both of them out because I can't vote for either Clinton or Trump.

Neither Johnson or Stein is worth spit in a bucket.
