Hey, for all you Chrome aficionados, I've started using it as my main browser now, but when I try to print the site above, for example, it will only print one page. Is there a known fix to this? I see several people having this problem on various sites, but no resolution. The problem - display the 538 site above in Chrome; choose 'File/Print ...' from the Chrome menu; note that only 1 page is being printed. Nothing I do will make it go above 1 page. Doesn't happen on all sites, but I did see it on another site recently.
Oddly enough just this week I switched to Chrome on my desktop. Latest Firefox update was a bag of spanners. I don't print much out though so I can't help you. Though I can confirm print preview insists it is only one page. Interestingly if you do ctrl-A and then right click to print it shows 8 pages but the graphics are wonky.

Did Trump Support The Iraq War Or Not? | Zero Hedge
A US pen-friend and I have come to an agreement Trump's role in this historic election. First, we thought to compare it with Teddy Roosevelt's a hundred years ago, but then we decided that he (Trump) is this Century's Emmanuel Goldstein.

Those who don't know or don't remember the plot of Orwell's "1984" can check with Wikipedia. At a time when the entire mainstream media is solidly lined up in support of the War Party's candidate - and indeed in support of any and all wars and slaughters of civilians that the Party chooses to engage in - we reckon that just about every vote for Trump will be from voters who have lost faith in the credibility of the MSM. If that's so, then a bleak future lies ahead for the USA and all its citizens - a future in which MSM news and opinions will be little different from the Big Brother's news and opinions that Orwell imagined.

That ought to scare even those on this thread who so gallantly support the pro-war, pro-slaughters, candidate. Better think again, people. Do you really want your children and grandchildren to live in such a degraded society?

I myself think your Leader will win the election, because her sponsors control the automatic voting machines. The celebrations that follow will signal the formal beginning of the empire of Oceania ("1984" reference again).

When I do ctrl-A (select all), and then right-click and choose 'print', the preview now shows 3 pages (and the graphics are wonky); another attempt showed 0 pages ... . I've been printing the site to PDF at various points in time for a historical record of the election ... I just tried Firefox; that browser offers to print 11 pages, but the graphics are all pushed too far to the right and the historic graph of 'how the odds have changed' does not display the most recent values. IE has been my 'go to' browser forever, and it correctly renders the site for printing. The new 'Edge' browser also only renders 1 page. How odd; this site must use some very challenging methods.

Just to remind readers on which side of the aisle the voting machine companies lie.

In a fall 2003 fundraising letter sent to Republicans, from Diebold CEO Walden O'Dell (based in Ohio):
"I am committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president."
Meanwhile the current GOP candidate is tweeting through the night about non-existent sex tapes.

DFO Gordon.

Maybe try emailing 538 and see if they are aware of the issue themselves.

And once again, I have to ask ... how do you rationalize these statements when you know that Trump has repeatedly said he would target the wives and children of terrorists, use torture, and consider the nuclear alternative? I'm sure you'll be along right away to give us your answer, as always.

I have done that - thanks for the suggestion. BTW - I also fired up my Mac, and the same problems occur there with Safari and Firefox, at least. My Macbook Air is a very expensive piece of shelfware other than the rare times when I need to test something like this ...

The reaction by Trump to this whole 'Miss Universe' topic is rather revealing, isn't it! He simply cannot let it go, and is ignoring every word of advice from his own team. If he can get this wound up about such a trivial issue, imagine how he would react to North Korea, or Edward Snowdon, or something more serious. Shocking.

Not a problem if Trump is elected, he's going to do away with all environmental regulations, so climate change will have killed everyone before they have a chance to worry about that.

Oh and BTW your comparison between Trump and Goldstein is strange considering Goldstein was likely a creation of Big Brother. Unless you subscribe to the theory that Trump is under Clinton's control to ensure she wins the election.

Maybe he's sleep-tweeting? It would explain a lot.

Every time I hear about Trump getting ready to unleash the "Bill card" on Clinton, I wonder just how much he is paying Ivana to be silent and completely invisible during this campaign. People say what nice kids Trump raised--it was Ivana who raised them after she was dumped for a younger model. She was humiliated by him after she redecorated the Plaza. She must have to get out her bank statement twenty times a day in order to restrain herself.
