Reports are that Perry has run out of cash already and can't pay his staff.

Re: 2016 Election
Like any reasonable person, my top three were Democrats - but surprised to see a 60% for Huckabee! I must have really hit the nail on a couple of topics for him. I really don't like him though, sleazy politician. I think it's the first time that a survey like this has put a Republican above 50% for me. Must be going senile.
I wonder how the "Yes, but..." votes are tabulated compared to the plain "Yes". Some of them started with "Yes, but..." and ended up sounding far more like "No, although..." and vice versa. |

Anyway, it looks like if the people of BE were the only ones who got to vote for President, then we would be feeling the Bern.

I'm surprised that Teflon Don's lead in the polls is still increasing. I thought he'd blown it during last week's debate. Perhaps people are sick and tired of the old way of politics and want someone who says what they think...not say what people want to hear. He's certainly spiced things up.:unsure:

He doesn't say what he thinks - because he doesn't think: Mr. Trump strikes me as an entirely un-thoughtful, reactive individual, temperamentally incapable of reflection. He spouts, rarely listens - or if he does- only hears praise (often non-existent or else ego gratifying Facebook affirmation). Or imagined slights if deserved criticism is offered. So to those who seek a "tell it like it is" candidate who expresses his thoughts about matters of policy - they would be sorely disappointed if () he ever were to govern. |

.....so, having learned yesterday, after taking the terrific quiz Leslie posted here (see above), that Bernie reflects my position on issues substantially more than Hillary (well...5% more) I took note when I just heard that 25,000 attended his rally last night at the LA Sports Arena. Amazing. Wish I'd been there to hear him speak. Can't help but smile when thinking about who the 2 crowd-grabbers are right now in the 2 parties. I want to hear Trump label Bernie..... "A LOSER....A TOTAL LOSER...I'M TELLING YOU HE'S A LOSER" (btw.....anyone else notice how he seems prone to ad-hominem insult in triplicate)? |
