What a charade. Mrs Smith the mother of the man who was killed in the attack in Benghazi being cynically used to blame Hillary Clinton. While I feel very sorry for the lady over her loss it was just a circus show with several in the audience shedding tears in sympathy.

if any tears should be shed it should be for the few thousand men and women who never came back alive from Iraq and Afghanistan or are now without limbs or brain damaged from IEDs thanks to Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, good Republicans all of them.

Mrs Obama, I demand you hand over your time machine at once and refrain from copying any further speeches!

Well the bar was pretty low.

She's nice enough, but I don't think she came off great. But this is early days for her.

Out of interest, do either of you wish to re-state your opinions of her speech (in either direction :)) in light of the fact that chunks of it appear to have been lifted verbatim from Michelle Obama's 2008 convention speech? ;)

Paul Manafort has been kind enough to explain that it was actually Hillary's fault because Hillary feels threatened by Mrs. Trump. Glad we got that all cleared up.

You really couldn't make this up. She's been working on her speech...with the best speech writers money can buy...for months.

I know I keep saying this...Clinton or Trump...God help America.

Even better. She claimed to have written it herself.

Corey Lewandowski looks like a Boy Scout compared to Manafort who looks and acts like something off the Sopranos.

I wonder if the script writer set her up - she also had a line that sounded like she was Rick Rolling the whole audience, something like "Never going to give up on you, never ever going to let you down"

Tonights speakers are Ben Carson and Kimberlin Brown ( I had to google her) so expect talks about ancient Egyptian grain silos and avocado farms.

Maybe some grape advice from Kerry Woolard, general manager of Trump Winery

Oh, and Tiffany Trump is speaking so look out for ""Four score and seven years ago my grandfather brought forth on this continent..."
