I was unable to force myself to watch the whole thing, but parts that I saw towards the end he was shrieking -- and his idea of looking "presidential" seems to have led to the adoption of Il Duce's mannerisms. The way he'd make a statement and then clamp his mouth shut and look kind of sideways awaiting roars of approval only needed the arms akimbo to be spot on.

When Trump talks about America becoming a country of law and order. Does this mean he wants it to become a police state.

Seen on the internet...

"If a black man with two ex-wives, five kids by three different women, and a current wife who is an immigrant with no college degrees ran for president of the USA, he would be called every immoral, trifling, poor decision-making, unfit name in the book."

Or would they choose a woman who stood by her husband despite his infidelity?

The whole Christian family values thing has been thrown out of the window for Trump. And with his comments about LBGTQ, I wonder if they will actually get the evangelical vote at all at this election. They'd have to stick a lot of nutty anti-trans bathroom bills to get them to come out and vote.

He seems to have them, at least most of their leadership. I find the argument that they are more interested in nativism than anything else to be convincing.

Interesting. Hillary has been an accessory to the slaughter of maybe a million civilians in the Middle East and North Africa. Anian might well regard this as within the scope of Christian family values, but I don't. Trump has been castigated for threatening to do the same - but who knows whether he will or not? If I were a Third-World citizen, I would rather deal with someone who merely threatened to bomb my village than someone who has bombed a village a week for years with no remorse or regrets.

If you know anything about politics, then you'd know that the evangelicals are generally in favour of those who bomb Muslims in foreign countries. So that's another point for Clinton for them.
